Hello fellow data scientists,

This is just a reminder that we don't have a meeting today, but we will have a meeting next week, March 13.

In addition, I have a brief message reminding others about TRIUMFs Quantum Machine Learning that Olivia di Matteo is organizing:

A reminder that the quantum machine learning study group will be meeting this Friday March 8 at 10:30am in the theory room. The course* is nearly halfway through, but there is still time for anyone interested to catch up or work through at your own pace. In addition to discussing the course material, I'll also share some slides about the current state of quantum hardware and applications in HEP. Finally, feel free to join our slack channel: https://join.slack.com/t/triumf-qml/signup<https://join.slack.com/t/triumf-qml/signup?x=x-558472879347-569211660871>

Quantum computers are becoming available, which begs the question: what are we going to use them for? Machine learning is a good candidate. In this course we will introduce several quantum machine learning algorithms and implement them in Python.

Cheers,

David
