> International Peer Review Closeout re. Thank you!:
>
> Dear TRIUMF Community -
>
> Following a dense few days on-site, plus review and discussion of hefty advance materials, the International Peer Review Committee (IPRC) completed its closeout with us at the end of the day yesterday. The IPRC evaluated TRIUMF's accomplishments over the past five years and our Five-Year Plan 2020-2025 (which you can explore at http://fiveyearplan.triumf.ca).
>
> In short, we passed our review with flying colours. The IPRC was inspired and amazed by what they found at TRIUMF: by our talented and caring people, by our scientific excellence, by our leadership in a multitude of areas, by our innovations, by our ambition and vision, by our grit and can-do spirit, and by an abundance of possibility.
>
> What I heard made me very proud of all that is happening at TRIUMF across departments and disciplines, which is a result of the contributions you make each day. I hope you are just as proud to be a part of this organization that you are helping to build. The Committee was especially impressed by our people - their passion for science, their dedication to TRIUMF, and their drive to apply our science to the betterment of society.
>
> Thank you to each and every one involved in the IPRC review process: to those who took part in the wide-range of sessions this week; organizers and coordinators; those who prepped the site (enhancing it for this past week and moving forward); those who helped welcome and host our guests; those who provided information and background material to address questions; and to each of you for delivering the meat of the review in the extraordinary work that you do.
>
> The IPRC's review informs the National Research Council Canada's (NRC) evaluation of TRIUMF. We will be sure to circulate the NRC's evaluation when it is released in the New Year and keep you apprised of any funding updates that we are able to share.
>
> In the meantime, our important work continues. The IPRC was crystal clear on something else they shared in the closeout: that it is crucial we successfully deliver on the Five-Year Plan 2020-2025! Following their visit, the IPRC has confidence that the TRIUMF team can meet this ambitious challenge and looks forward to seeing the continued success that comes from our passion, dedication, teamwork, and drive.
>
> Ever onward, but first, let's enjoy this well-deserved lab-wide recognition: CONGRATS!
