Ritu asked to convey the following message to your HQP.

In light of the planned shutdown of operations in 2026, the Physical Sciences Division is working on strategies to ensure that the students and post docs. are able to complete their planned research work.  We will identify students who are in critical need of data to allow them to graduate in the 2026 - mid 2027 period. Our beam scheduling plans in 2025 will be putting all efforts to try for having beamtime scheduled for such critical cases. The longer beam times expected in 2027 and beyond should help to mitigate the lost time in 2026 for many others.
