[Particle-physics-affiliated] PSD retreat on October 3rd - request for input (see second half of email)

Dear Colleagues,

As you know,  we will have the PSD retreat on Oct 3rd. To prepare we have 2 (3) meetings scheduled starting next Thursday. The agenda is coming together and so far we have 2 allocations assigned, for which we have to collect content and assign speakers.

Planning the goals for current 5YP  2025 – 2030 Department reports
     9:15 : Particle Physics Department   (10 mins + 5 mins)

Round Table Discussion  Current 5 year plan period  2025 – 2030
11:50 :  3.2 Mid term review of establishing research centres (Quantum Science, A.I., Detector)  (15 mins)


In addition there are sessions in the afternoon, called:
Discussion points for next 5 year plan 2030 -2035
Discussion points for beyond 2035 ; 20 year vision
…in which new projects within those two timeframes can be discussed.

We have a department heads and deputies meeting tomorrow where the agenda gets further refined.
Let me and Chloe know if you have items for the afternoon (next 5YP and 20 year vision) that you would like to suggest.
Personally, I would think that future collider is something we should bring up, but there are obviously more.
