[Particle-physics-affiliated] Colloquium speaker suggestions for 2026/2027

Hi all,

On the colloquium committee we are starting to consider our invitations for colloquium speakers for the following year. This past year we had pretty good representation from particle physics in the spring term: Spencer Gessner speaking on plasma Wakefield accelerators, Dominique Trischuk on Long lived searches at ATLAS, and Ann Wang on LZ dark matter results. I’d like to aim for 4-5 invitations throughout the 2026-2027 year, including one on accelerators.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Suggestions are particularly welcome for topics in non-collider physics. I’m happy also to discuss your ideas in person— just reach out and we can have a quick chat.
