Science Talk Abstract;
Ever wonder what was happening in the Meson hall below the loading bay for the last decade? We built the TUCAN (TRIUMF UltraCold Advanced Neutron) source, completed it in 2025 and produced first neutrons. The presentation will introduce the principles of the source operation, highlight first exciting results and explain why we are doing this.
