Subject: One Year Limited Term Appointment teaching physics is now available at the University of Windsor Department of Physics
Hello Colleagues,
The University of Windsor is please to announce a one-year Limited-term Appointment at the Rank of Lecturer or Assistant professor starting January 1, 2022. All applications are due by October 1, 2021. A PDF document of the posting is attached to this email for you to post or distribute. A link to the website hosting the advertisement, as well as the full text of the posting, are provided below. Please note that we do expect the successful candidate to be physically in Windsor in January, not virtual.
Please distribute this to anyone who may be interested.
While this is only a one-year appointment and is strictly a teaching-focused (non-research) appointment, this would be a perfect opportunity for a high-qualified post-doc or recent graduate to gain invaluable teaching experience to build up their teaching dossier prior to applying for a tenure-track position. While they teach with us over the course of a year, they could search for a full-time tenure track position and continue to write papers based on their previous research work to build up their CV (if desired). For the right candidate, this could be a very valuable experience. We hope we can count on you to spread the word about this opportunity. Thank you very much.
With regards,
Steven J. Rehse, PhD
