ACOT
The twice-annual ACOT meeting happens next week, Nov 18-20. Here are some highlights for grads and postdocs:

Prakash Verma, PhD in Theoretical Chemistry (University of Florida), Computational Chemist, 1Qbit - a scientist with a background in quantum chemistry research, most of which is in developing and benchmarking computational tools to compute molecular properties accurately and efficiently.
Christin Wiedemann, PhD in Physics (University of Stockholm), Director of Quality Engineering, Slalom Build, - an inclusive leader focused on strategic planning, team management, data analysis and interpretation, innovation, coaching, training, mentoring, software development and testing.

Reza Rezaee, PhD in Physics (University of Tennessee) – a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Physics and Max Planck Centre for Extreme and Quantum Photonics, University of Ottawa and an entrepreneur. His research includes exotic quantum light sources and quantum optics with years of experience in experimental physics and scientific instrumentation, laser spectroscopy, quantum sensing using color centers, and laser scanning confocal microscopy. In addition to experimental physics, he also has experience in computational quantum chemistry. His mission is to accelerate the commercialization of quantum technologies.
