Dear Students,


We are writing to invite you to apply to the 2022 Tri-Institute School on Elementary Particles (TRISEP), to be held from July 4-16, 2022 at TRIUMF in Vancouver, Canada. TRISEP is an international summer school organized jointly by the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, SNOLAB, and TRIUMF.

TRISEP will feature lectures by leading experts in the field of particle physics and is designed to be very interactive with ample time for questions, discussions and interaction with the speakers. The school is intended for graduate students of all levels who have already been exposed to quantum field theory.

Prospective students are asked to apply before April 29, 2022.  Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.  Accepted students will be contacted by email and with instructions to pay a registration fee of $25 and set up accommodation (if needed).

Our plan is to hold the school in person provided it is safe to do so. As part of this, TRIUMF has a set of COVID pandemic safety requirements based on the recommendations of the local health authority, which currently includes mandatory proof of vaccination. Up-to-date details can be found here:

The number of students will also be limited to ensure spacing and ventilation.
