Inaugural TRIUMF Community Coffee Friday 16 June 10-11AM (with SNACKS!)

Hi GAPS-ers!


The GAPS EDI subcommittee is thrilled to announce that we’re kicking off a new event series – the TRIUMF-wide monthly community coffee! The goal of the event is to create a safe space for marginalized groups and allies to connect in an informal, judgement-free setting. Each month, we will be alternating between inviting 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies, and women and gender diverse folks.


In recognition of Canada’s pride month, for our inaugural session, we’d love to invite 2SLGBTQIA+ members of the TRIUMF community and allies to join us and special guest Dr. Gwen Grinyer, next Friday, June 16th, 10 – 11 AM. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.


We will meet at the Nobel Park grass field, weather permitting. A GAPS EDI subcommittee member will be waiting in front of the TRIUMF reception to lead a group to walk over together at 9:50 AM, or you are welcome to meet us at the park directly as well.
