GAPS EDI and TRIUMF EDIC present Allyship Workshop on Monday June 26, 12-1 p.m.

Dear GAPS community,

The TRIUMF Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI) committee and GAPS EDI subcommittee would like to invite you to attend a workshop on allyship. This event is an opportunity to learn more about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, the barriers they face in our society, and the role that you can play as an ally.

After a few words from TRIUMF’s director, Nigel Smith, our ombudsperson, Grace Wong-Sneddon, will give a brief presentation on allyship followed by facilitated discussion in small groups.

The event will be held on Monday, June 26th from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in a hybrid format. Light snacks will be provided.
