Dear Friends and Colleagues,



We are delighted to announce that the TRIUMF’s 2023 Science Week, will take place this summer during the week of July 31st - August 4th, 2023.   Please mark your calendars! We highly encourage in-person participation, however, options for remote participation will be made available.



TRIUMF Science Week is a yearly event that brings together the users and community of the laboratory and provides an opportunity to learn about updates on the science program and. Importantly, it is also a venue to seek community input and initiate inter-disciplinary discussions regarding  the TRIUMF science program.



This year's program is still in the planning stage but will feature presentations on recent achievements and science highlights, and will provide an opportunity for Early Career Researchers to present their research. Science Week 2023 will also be used as platform to present the outcome for the 2025-2030 5-year plan to the community, following on from last year's Science Week which was used to gather input and feedback on major science directions and new initiatives from the TRIUMF community. In addition, the TRIUMF Users Group Annual General Meeting will take place at the end of the week.



Science Week is an important networking event so in-person social gatherings are being planned, such as the TRIUMF summer BBQ, networking opportunities for students and postdocs and sports events.  Furthermore, the LOC will be seeking feedback from the TRIUMF Users Group on other elements of Science Week.
