Hey GAPS / Co-Ops,

Picture this -- one late night focusing on your research, you make the biggest breakthrough your field has ever seen. Everyone needs to know. You get a spot at the most prestigious conference and prepare to tell your story. But although you've taken the most advanced physics classes available, you've never properly learned how to give a presentation! Amidst a series of ummms, awkward pauses, and poorly organized slides, your audience falls asleep and your discovery fades into obscurity, setting humanity back by 100s of years.

Come to the GAPS Presentation Skills Workshop!

  *   Tuesday, April 2nd, 3-5PM, in the main MOB auditorium.
  *   Speakers from the UBC CTLT will be here, teaching us how to...
     *   Make your audience care, by creating presentations which are focused, on point, and memorable
     *   Apply strategies to reduce anxiety during public speaking
  *   There will be snacks :)
