Subject: Invitation to ACOT-GAPS Lunch November 19th
Dear Grads and Postdocs,
Next week the Advisory Committee on TRIUMF (ACOT) will be on-site to conduct meetings.
As part of ACOT we've been asked to organize a lunch between GAPS members and the ACOT committee members.
This lunch will be on Tuesday November 19th from 12-1pm (food will be provided!).
We are looking for 20-30 grads and postdocs to attend this lunch.
The main topic will be discussion on the impact the 5-year plan and especially the planned shutdown will have on GAPS members.
If these affect you in any way you are strongly encouraged to sign up!
If you're interested in attending the lunch please fill out this form: https://forms.office.com/r/kQvHTeby2n
We will strive to keep an equitable amount of representatives from all divisions & GAPS career stages, but otherwise it will be first come first served.
The form will close on Friday November 15th at 3pm - please respond as soon as possible!
We will email those who are invited to attend once the form closes.
Any questions about the lunch, contact us at gaps at triumf.ca
Finally, if your supervisor hasn't discussed with you the impact the shutdown will have on your research, and you would like more information about your options, you can contact us at gaps at triumf.ca (this address only goes to a few people on the GAPS committee) .
Best,
-Your GAPS
