Elfin Lakes hike RSVP

Hi GAPS members,

We are looking forward to another hike this summer: Elfin Lakes.

It will happen on Sunday, the 24th of August.

It is a 21km and 800m of elevation hike in the Garibaldi Park ending at two beautiful alpine lakes. The hike is comparable to last year's Garibaldi Lake hike.

NOTES:

for this hike we will likely be leaving TRIUMF at 7am on the day as it is a 2h drive away, followed by a 7 hour hike so make sure to take that into account in your response.
  *
Since Garibaldi requires parking passes that can only be booked two days before, we will need the help of participants in ensuring we get enough for the Diamond Head Parking Lot. In the case where we are unable to obtain these, we will plan a backup trail tbd.
  *
This is a group activity. Sub-groups are fine, but nobody shall walk in groups smaller than 4. This is also because of potential wildlife.
