Subject: Community Coffee Event: Black History Month
Hi TRIUMF Community!

We’re back with this month’s iteration of our event series – the TRIUMF-wide monthly community coffee! This month’s event will focus on ways to engage with Black History Month this February. We invite you to join us on Tuesday January 28, from 3:00 – 4:00pm in the MOB Auditorium.

If you’re new to this event series, we meet monthly over coffee to foster community spirit while acknowledging and discussing the inclusion of different subcommunities at TRIUMF. You are welcome to bring your lunch, and coffee and snacks are on us, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Each session kicks off with a brief presentation or topic overview, paving the way for conversation with your peers. Everyone is welcome to join!

As a reminder, please read through the GAPS Code of Conduct<http://gaps.triumf.ca/code-of-conduct> before attending to ensure our gatherings are enjoyable and respectful for all.

The ECS-EDI is a community-led organization focusing on EDI initiatives and action at TRIUMF. It is a subset of GAPS, but hosts events for all of TRIUMF.
