Judges wanted: co-op student poster competition

Hi GAPSers,

Chris Ryan is looking for four GAPS volunteers to judge the co-op poster competition this term. Please see below for more information and reach out to Chris directly (cc’d here) if you are interested.


“Hello GAPS,

We are looking for four judges for our term-end poster event which will take place the morning of Thursday, August 14th. The first round of presenters begins at 10am, and the second group at 11am, and it finishes at 12:00pm where there is a free lunch. It would be about 2.5 to 3 hours of a commitment and free food.  : )

We provide the rubrics as we are a communication program and have been working on related concepts and formats that incorporate the work of all Undergrads at TRIUMF. A winner does need to be chosen and they win $2000 to present at a conference of their choice, or it can go towards an educational program - but not their current tuition.

If you could let me know by end-of day Thursday, July 31st if you are available, I will take the first four folks who reach out.

Thanks so much for your help with our program throughout the terms and we know Undergrads really appreciate the interactions they have with all of you.
