<div class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0" style="background-color:white">The GAPS committee is launching a pilot "<span data-markjs="true" class="markckj1w7b0i ContentPasted0" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">buddy</span> system" program
to introduce new members to our wonderful community. This program aims to pair a new grad or postdoc with a "<span data-markjs="true" class="markckj1w7b0i ContentPasted0" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb="">buddy</span>" that is already involved
with GAPS (such as yourself). Ideally, people from different research groups will be matched up to create broader connections throughout GAPS. This is a low-commitment role, mostly aimed to get the new member introduced to the GAPS community at large and feel
welcome at TRIUMF. </div>

buddy</span> to 3 GAPS events (cookie hour, movie night etc.) and introduce them to people to help them build connections<br class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0">
</li><li class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0">Link them up with a site tour</li><li class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0">Introduce them to GAPS communications such as the mailing list, website and discord server<br class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0">
</li><li class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0">Be nice and friendly <span class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0">
