You're all invited to join the Graduate Student & Postdoc Society (GAPS) Committee!</div>

Any grad or postdoc at TRIUMF can join, and you get to decide how much (or little) time you want to dedicate to it.</div>

The committee is made up of volunteers, and we meet at 3pm on Fridays in MOB Boardroom - you're all welcome to join!</div>

In 2 weeks, on <b>Friday</b> <b>July 28</b><span><sup><b>th</b></sup> during our committee meeting we'll hold elections for our chair and vice-chairs - see end of email for details on the positions.</span></div>

These positions are simply a reflection of how volunteer committee members want to spend their time on the committee, and so most of the elections are done by discussion at our meeting on July 28th. We simply ask that you attend at least two meetings (e.g.

 next two weeks) to familiarize yourself with the committee before volunteering for a position.</div>

However, you do not need a position to make a difference - feel free to join our meeting whenever if you have an idea for an event or want to spearhead a new initiative.</div>
