Hi everyone,

At the next Journal Club on Sept. 19th, I will talk about the
following paper:

author  : J. N. Kriel, A. Y. Morozov, F. G. Scholtz
title   : Non-perturbative flow equations from continuous unitary transformations
journal : J. Phys. A 38 (2005), 205    cond-mat/0408420

The flow equation method was proposed by F. Wegner to solve many-body
problems, or to derive effective interactions. In this paper, an
improvement is proposed in applying the flow equation to a given
problem. As an example, they apply the method to Lipkin model in the
improved way.

I will explain the flow equation method and its application.
