[Triumf-linux-managers] Disable SL5.1 bash autocompletion?

Hi, there - does anybody know how to disable bash autocompletion
in SL5.1? Perhaps some people find it useful, but I now see that
it is very broken, basically does not work. I do not want to use it
and I would not recommend it to other people.

1) How do I turn it off on a per-user basis?
2) Can the TRIUMF kickstart be modified to disable this mis-feature
for the root user by default?

Here is an example:

[root at ladd00 ~]# ls -l elog-2.7.3-1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 997293 Feb 22 07:08 elog-2.7.3-1.i386.rpm

[root at ladd00 ~]# rpm -i elo[tab] ----> works
[root at ladd00 ~]# rpm -vh --install elo[tab] ----> does not work

I will not go into other examples and I will not give a lecture
on why regressions like this are bad.
