SL6 instructions: (corrected the yum downgrade command)

yum -y install yum-plugin-versionlock
rpm -q rpcbind # confirm bad version rpcbind-0.2.0-13.el6_9.x86_64
yum -y downgrade rpcbind-0.2.0-13.el6
rpm -q rpcbind # confirm good version rpcbind-0.2.0-13.el6.x86_64
yum versionlock rpcbind
service ypserv restart
service ypbind restart
ypwhich # confirm nis binding
service nfs restart # restart rpc.mountd
#yum versionlock delete rpcbind # to undo the lock
