[Triumf-running] Vancouver Pride Run - Sunday July 28th

Hi TRIUMF Run Club!

The ECS-EDI (early career and students for EDI) and GAPS are organizing a TRIUMF team for the Vancouver Pride Run! The run is an official 10k or 5k route, and you can walk or run. The 10k is a nice one around the Stanley Park seawall. The race takes place the morning of Sunday, July 28th. Registration is $40, and this event also supports 3 great Pride-related charities, so teams (and individuals) also fundraise. There will be an official TRIUMF announcement soon, but I wanted to directly advertise to the run club first. Please spread the word, and join the TRIUMF team if you are interested in participating! https://raceroster.com/events/2024/87408/vancouver-pride-run-and-walk-2024/teams . To do so, find TRIUMF in the list of teams in that previous link, and click Join Team – it’s that simple! (You must also register of course.) The team code to enter is “TRIUMFpride”. If you are unable to participate on the day of the event, you are also welcome to support by donating directly to the TRIUMF team. For now it’s just me there, so hopefully we can get more participants and move TRIUMF up the fundraising leaderboard!
