Title:     Heavy Flavor production at HERA and elsewhere

Abstract: Recent ZEUS and H1 results on charm and beauty production in high energy ep collisions at HERA are reviewed. The measured differential cross sections are compared with the perturbative QCD predictions. Results on charm fragmentation and charm hadron spectroscopy are also discussed. The HERA measurements are compared with results obtained at other colliders.
