Title: Supersymmetric Q-balls as Dark Matter
Abstract: Supersymmetric Q-balls (large Bose-Einstein condensates of squarks or other scalar superparticles) have long been considered as possible candidates for dark matter. This could give dark matter and ordinary matter a common source and explain their similar abundances. In this presentation I will demonstrate that previous estmates of their interactions with matter were far too small. I will also explain how this affects limits on their abundance and viability as a dark matter candidate.
Please note location.
Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
