Title: Rare Isotope Accelerators in China: Present and Future Direction

Abstract: The Chinese accelerators for radioactive ion beam physics will be introduced shortly. A project for the radioactive ion beam physics and nuclear astrophysics (2001-2005) in china will be introduced also. It is based on the intermediate energy radioactive Ion Beam Line (RIBLL) of Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou(HIRFL) and Low Energy Radioactive Ion Beam Line (GIRAFFE) of Beijing National Tandem Accelerator Lab (HI13). The key scientific problems which have been researched and will be researched as high priority are :the nuclear structure and reaction for nucleus far from beta-stability line; the synthesize of new nuclides near drip lines and new super heavy nuclides; the properties of asymmetric nuclear matter with extra large isospin and some nuclear astroreactions. Finally, the scientific goals of National Big Science Projects:“Cooler Storage Ring (CSR)” in Lanzhou which will be fulfilled at 2006 on the schedule and “Beijing Radioactive Nuclei Beam Facility (BRNBF)”which will be fulfilled 2010 will be introduced shortly also.

Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
