Title: Twilight at the Tevatron
Abstract: Simply put, High Energy Physics endeavors to understand the make-up of the universe at its most elementary level, to uncover the laws which govern these elementary interactions, and to describe all of this within a single unified theoretical framework. This ambitious endeavor requires experimental efforts that are global in scale. The Fermilab Tevatron, a proton-antiproton collider, has been operating at the highest collision energy available in the world for the last 25 years. In the coming year this mantle will be passed to CERN's Large Hadron Collider. I highlight some of the Tevatron achievments and speculate what the ultimate legacy of the program might be.
Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
