Title:     Tests of time reversal symmetry in radioactive nuclei

Abstract: More than a decade ago theoretical work has found that in heavy atoms with nuclei that are quadrupole and octupole deformed, the static electric dipole moments are greatly enhanced when a parity and time reversal violating interaction is present. This work has led to several experimental proposals to measure time reversal violation. Leading in this are TRIUMF and Argonne National Laboratory. In this talk we will discuss some new theoretical developments and present an updated account of the theory.
