Title:     Light Octets, Heavy Higgs, and Minimal Flavour Violation

Abstract: In the early LHC era any new states discovered will not be in conflict with indirect probes of the TeV scale already carried out through the flavour physics program and electroweak precision data.

A class of interesting discoverable states, consistent with these constraints, are coloured scalars that preserve minimal flavour violation. We will discuss the bounds on such states and the effect that these states can have on the Higgs.
