Title:     Changing the Questions

Abstract: TRIUMF’s raison d'être is to produce scientific results that have a real impact. It is argued that this means generating the next set of compelling questions, rather than merely answering the current set. This question-changing concept is illustrated using a detailed example from the recent history of nuclear physics. The question-changing paradigm is then applied to the managerial aspects of TRIUMF achieving its full potential.
