Title:     8B Neutrinos and 12C Resonances

Abstract: I will present results from my recently completed thesis project. The presentation will be divided into two parts. First, I will discuss the 3He+10B and 3He+11B reaction experiments conducted in March 2008 at the CMAM facility in Madrid, Spain, where the three-alpha breakup of 12C resonances was studied in complete kinematics. Second, I will discuss the measurement of the 8B beta decay performed in January 2008 at the IGISOL facility in Jyväskylä, Finland, and its consequences for the solar neutrino spectrum.
