Title: Recent Results, Future Prospects, and Beamline Upgrades for the Long-Baseline Neutrino Oscillation Program in Japan
Abstract: The T2K Long-Baseline Neutrino Oscillation Experiment has released a series of exciting results, the latest of which hints towards CP violation in the lepton sector. With these suggestive results, the T2K collaboration is proposing to increase the statistics of the T2K final data-set. Construction of the Hyper-K detector has also been proposed, which would further enhance the sensitivity of the long-baseline neutrino oscillation physics program in Japan. Recent results and future prospects of T2K and beyond, as well as the neutrino beamline upgrades necessary for maximizing the T2K and Hyper-K physics sensitivities, will be discussed.
