Date/Time: Tue Jul 15 2025 at 13:00<br/><br/>Location: Theory Room/Remote<br/><br/>Speaker: Suruj Jyoti Das (Institute of Basic Science)<br/><br/>Title: Phenomenology of rotating axions: Baryogenesis and Dark Matter<br/><br/>Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss how axion like particles can play role in generating both the baryon asymmetry and the dark matter abundance of our Universe. While the former might take place during the rotation of axion in the early Universe, the latter might be generated at a later epoch during its coherent oscillation. I will discuss ways to generate such dynamics, with some specific predictions in particle physics and cosmology experiments.
