Wakefield technology provides high energy acceleration in short distances, enabling compact and affordable colliders. But the size, cost, and performance of a collider is driven by much more than just accelerator technology. In this talk, I will describe how HEP theorists and experimentalists have come together with wakefield accelerator and collider experts to address all aspects of the 10 TeV Wakefield Collider including physics reach, beamstrahlung backgrounds, beam delivery system, and high energy linacs. I will conclude the talk with a discussion on the state of accelerator R&D globally and prospects for achieving 10 TeV pCM collisions at hadron, muon, or wakefield colliders.
