In addition to these theoretical challenges, recent cosmological observations have revealed potential signs of new physics beyond the standard ?CDM paradigm, including the latest DESI evidence for dynamical dark energy. In this talk, I explore possible interactions between dark matter and dark energy, proposing a stable and technically natural particle physics realization through interactions between dark axions and dark baryons. The model exhibits an apparent phantom-crossing behavior in the dark energy equation of state, consistent with DESI observations. When confronted with cosmological data, we find evidence for non-zero interactions. Possible implications for resolving the Hubble tension will also be discussed.
