Starting with Sagittarius A* (Sgr A*), the SMBH at the Milky Way Galactic Center, I show how there can be sizable energy and momentum transfers between the stars and DM surrounding Sgr A*. Thus, precision measurements of these stars can reveal particle properties of dark matter.
I then turn to Active Galactic Nuclei, which are extragalactic SMBHs with enormous luminosities of cosmic rays. I show how energy transfer between these cosmic rays and DM can set strong constraints, especially in the case of inelastic DM.
