Dear Friends and Colleagues,



The year 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of TRIUMF : a milestone in the history of science in Canada. Since our founding in 1968, TRIUMF has pushed the frontiers of science and made countless contributions to some of the biggest quests for understanding, both at home, and abroad.



>From July 16-19 at Science Week 2018, we'll be honouring the last 5 decades of science and discovery at TRIUMF - and we invite you to celebrate this milestone with us as we look ahead with excitement to what awaits us in the next 50 years and beyond.



This year's Science Week will feature an alumni event hosted by the TRIUMF Alumni and Retiree Association (TARA), and a special 50th Anniversary Science Symposium that highlights various achievements from our past and the ongoing projects that are leading TRIUMF into the next era of discovery.



Registration for Science Week 2018 is now open<https://mis.triumf.ca/events/event.jsf?confcode=SW2018> and will remain open until July 11th, 2018. The cost for registration is $10.
