Next week's journal club will be based on this paper:

Some things to think about:

What is the Island of Inversion (and what causes it)?
What was the "puzzle" about 32Mg?
Why is (t,p) a good method for studying these mixing effects?
Why only use such a simple model - why not a full shell model calculation?
What other methods could be used to investigate this?

Other things will probably come to mind between now and Wednesday.
