[Particle-physics-affiliated] Next Particle Physics meeting Thursday June 17th 12:30

Dear Colleagues,

We will have our next Particle Physics Meeting on Thursday June 17th at 12:30pm.

Nigel Smith will join us for the first 45-60min for a round table/introductions.
Please send me any topics you would like to cover, I was thinking of making a simple list.

For the second part, I will cover some recent news item as usual.
Then we will hear from Makoto about HAICU in a short 10min presentation.

Unfortunately I don’t have an indico page yet (so far I don’t have permissions to create meetings).

But we will use Zoom (connection details below)

Then later on Thursday, for those who are around, Nigel agreed to meet at Jericho Beach in person at 4:30pm (same place as last year).
I will get some Pizza and individual salads, but please bring your own preferred drink. I will send an email about that with the coordinates tomorrow.
Also, I would suggest to bring a lawn chair if you have one. The weather forecast so far looks good!
