Here is the indico agenda for Thursday.

I also added to the agenda the 20-year vision summary for the PP Topical group (since these were due yesterday). This is just to share them at this point.
Feel free to send me the summaries for the other Topical groups. We can discuss these maybe at the next meeting on July 8th ?(or have a dedicated meeting earlier).
The idea is to have this as a focus for Science Week in August, so more feedback can be incorporated.

For the gathering on Thursday at Jericho beach (4:30-6pm), I suggest we meet near the same location as last time.
We can try to get the tables closer to the beach if they are available – I put the star in the map:

Dear Colleagues,

We will have our next Particle Physics Meeting on Thursday June 17th at 12:30pm.

Nigel Smith will join us for the first 45-60min for a round table/introductions.
Please send me any topics you would like to cover, I was thinking of making a simple list.

For the second part, I will cover some recent news item as usual.
Then we will hear from Makoto about HAICU in a short 10min presentation.

Unfortunately I don’t have an indico page yet (so far I don’t have permissions to create meetings).

But we will use Zoom (connection details below)

Then later on Thursday, for those who are around, Nigel agreed to meet at Jericho Beach in person at 4:30pm (same place as last year).
I will get some Pizza and individual salads, but please bring your own preferred drink. I will send an email about that with the coordinates tomorrow.
Also, I would suggest to bring a lawn chair if you have one. The weather forecast so far looks good!
