Dear Colleagues,

Just a reminder to upload your slides by Friday end of day on today’s indico.
https://indico.triumf.ca/event/610/

Also, we usually have this slide on “Connecting to the Community”. Were there any conferences or workshops or activities at TRIUMF we should add here?

Thanks, Oliver

Subject: ACOT parallel session
Dear Colleagues,

We just learnt over the weekend, that there will be ACOT Parallel sessions on November 19th 9:30-11:00.
As before this is a combined session Particle Physics/Science & Technology/Scientific Computing.

This is the day after the presentations by Nigel and Division Directors on November 18th.

Since our committee member (Sally Seidel) is new, we should go through all projects. At the same time we are asked to focus on activities in the next 5YP 2025-2030 + shutdown plans at TRIUMF and CERN. Here is a preliminary agenda. It’s pretty tight, so I would ask not to have more slides than number of minutes assigned. Can you suggest a speaker for your project by tomorrow please? Apologies for the short notice.

Best, Oliver

  *   Particle Physics (Intro 5+3min)
  *   Scientific Computing 7+3min
