We will continue tomorrow with our retreat preparations. This time we will be in the MOB conference room.
Please fill in the template for your area for the PP intro talk. Remember this is only a 10min overall talk, so we can’t go into detail.

Hiring discussion for next 5 YP:
The boundary condition given by Ritu is “to be reasonable”. The overall time allocated is 20min for the entire division, but we are asked to send in a list by Friday. So I suggest please come with your ideas of what you think our hire request should be, including what we already have from our previous exercise. Also think of a short justification to start the discussion.

 Dear Colleagues,

We will be restarting our meetings this Thursday, September 18th with a focus on preparations for the PSD retreat on October 3rd.
Have a look at this week’s agenda. We started with adding the 4 blocks for the retreat (2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon).

The only full presentation part will be the first part with 10min talks for each department, focusing on this current 5 year plan.
Ritu has advised, that the rest of the retreat will be discussion based, with at most a single slide per topic.
Please come with ideas for the last two sessions, that includes a strategic hiring discussion.
