Hello Grads and Postdocs,
As all of you are hopefully aware, TRIUMF has instituted a mandatory vaccination policy that will come into effect on December 17th. This applies to employees and visitors who require site access. In case you didn't receive the instructions or can't find them in your inbox, we'll include them below. Note that they also describe the procedure to follow if you did not receive an invitation from Thrive. Please make sure that you upload your proof-of-vaccination before the 17th to avoid interruptions to your site access.

On December 1, 2021, TRIUMF instituted a new policy (HR Policy 40) which will require that all Appointees, all Employees, and all Visitors with site access declare their vaccination status to the lab. Details of the new policy can be found here:

Beginning December 17, to be able to access the TRIUMF site, everyone must provide verification of having obtained at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine. The requirement changes to become fully vaccinated by January 17, 2022 in order to access the site after that date. This action is rooted in our commitment to safeguarding our community, and is informed by guidance from public health officials, community feedback, and similar policies at our member universities.
All Appointees, Employees and Visitors with existing site access authorization should have received an invitation from Thrive Health to sign-up to their platform to verify vaccination status.
If you did NOT yet receive an emailed Thrive invitation, please try the following steps:
* Check spam or junk folders
* Check alternative email accounts.
* For Appointees and Employees, the email should go to your TRIUMF.ca account.
* For Visitors, if you do not have a TRIUMF email account or do not receive an invitation in this mailbox, please check other addresses you may have used for your initial registration in the TRIUMF system
* If you are still unable to find the invitation, please submit a Helpdesk ticket<https://helpdesk.triumf.ca/> to the EH&S queue.
Once in Thrive, the sign-up process requires telephone number verification - to streamline the process, ALL users have been assigned the main TRIUMF switchboard number (604-222-1047) as their contact number. When prompted by the system, please enter the last 4 digits of this number (1047) to complete the registration process.
n.b. You do NOT need to create a detailed personal profile and you can proceed directly to the “Update your vaccine declaration” form section. Thrive will also ask you to create a password for secure login to the system. When creating a Thrive password, we ask that users choose a different password from your TRIUMF TRIDENT login
If you currently do not have site access but intend to come to TRIUMF, you will receive a Thrive invitation once your request for a visit has been processed. Vaccination status must be verified before site access will be granted.
Any other technical issues with the Thrive system should also be addressed to the Helpdesk<https://helpdesk.triumf.ca/> EH&S queue. Login to the Helpdesk is with your TRIDENT email.
