There are many problems with SL on laptops - usually with support
for funny laptop hardware and with wireless networking. In the nutshell,
the whole point of RHEL/SL is "stability", fundamentally incompatible
with "let's support the latest and greatest laptop hardware".
My usual answer to people with laptops is "install the latest Fedora".
