[Triumf-linux-managers] Anyone not turning off SELinux ?

I just wondered if anyone was successfully living with SELinux in
enforcing mode.

I just upgraded my system at home to Fedora Core 9, and have 10,000 error
messages so far in just 1 day. As a security manager, I thought I should
try to understand it rather than just turn it off, but it's a bit
daunting.

My new desktop at TRIUMF has SL5.2 with enforcing mode, too. I
haven't transferred all my stuff from RH9 yet, but still get errors from
Webalizer, some yum updates, and text relocation errors from google-earth
(fixed those..). Still haven't figured out how to run httpd on /home/www
where the content is instead of /opt/www on the other partition ...

"turning off security to get the job done" seems a bit lame, especially
for me ...
