Hi Everyone,*

The week before the Sun Run
*The Sun Run is this coming Sunday. For those of you running in this 
event, use this week to recover and prepare. There is no advantage to 
training hard this week as this would lead to reduced output during the 
race. Do continue to run but drop the intensity and distance.
I have updated a page with Sun Run tips -

review the sections on nutrition, tapering, race day prep, and race 
strategies. I hope these tips help you.*

Package pick-up
*I will pick up the race bibs the morning of Wednesday April 19th. You 
can drop by my office, room 232 in the ISAC II building, beginning at 
noon to get your shirt and bib. Do pick it up before Friday at 16:00.*

*Training this Week
Tuesday Apr 18**, 2017* - 1 min moderate pace repeats
Meet at 12:00 outside the Badge Room

  * jog to the west end of Imperial Trail
  * dynamic stretching
  * 10 or 12 one minute repeats at 10k pace (not faster) with 1 minute rests
  * easy jog back to TRIUMF
  * stretching

*Thursday Apr 20, 2017* - Easy run.
Meet at 12:00 outside the Badge Room

  * Easy run for 45 minutes. Possibly mix in some 20 second strides.
  * Stretching for everyone.
