Title: Beautiful Mirrors and Precision Electroweak Data

Abstract: Precision electroweak data, at or above the Z-pole, has tested the Standard Model at better than the per cent level, and represents the clearest picture of electroweak symmetry breaking today. However, the forward-backward asymmetry of the bottom quark disagrees at more than 2.5 sigma from its predicted value, and plays an interesting role in the fit to the Higgs mass. I will explore "Beautiful Mirrors", vector-like quarks which mix with the b-quark, as a solution to this paradox. The resulting phenomenology at present and future colliders will be discussed.

Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
