Title:     WestGrid Collaboration and Visualization Presentation

Abstract: WestGrid is a multi-province, multi-institute grid computing project in Western Canada offering a range of grid-enabled computation and storage facilities across Alberta and British Columbia.

As part of this initiative, the Collaboration and Visualization (CV) group within WestGrid has also established an advanced set of collaboration and visualization technologies across the WestGrid sites. The goal of the CV group is to provide an advanced collaboration and visualization infrastructure to the computation scientists in the WestGrid community.

In this talk, Brian Corrie will describe the WestGrid infrastructure that is being used, as well as describe some of the CV goals for integrating computation, visualization, and collaboration into a seamless environment. There will also be a brief demonstration of some of the collaboration and visualization tools available for use within the WestGrid network.
