Title: Quantum Entanglement Studies with Nuclear Probes
Abstract: Quantum Entanglement, originally a topic of debate between Einstein and Bohr, is currently of interest for quantum computation. While there are several theoretical efforts and experiments with photons and atomic beams, there is little or no activity using nuclear probes.
About 5 years ago, we initiated a project to study quantum entanglement at nuclear physics facilities [Polachic et al, Phys. Lett. A 323 (2004) 176]. My talk will present the current status and tentative plans for the near future.
Stimulants available 15 minutes before the talk.
