Hi,
Sorry for being so slow to get back to this video conferencing stuff.

Attached is a draft MCU proposal for WestGrid. It includes some
general technology description and some preliminary quotes.

  Current status from Brian Corrie:
"We are currently testing a Radvision/Lifesize MCU, on loan to Dalhousie
University. We should have a Codian/Cisco MCU on loan to us at SFU later
this month for further testing. Based on that process we should have a
good feel for the technology, capability, and usability side of things.
We then just need to figure out the nuts and bolts of what we want and
who is going to pay what. We could have this done by the first quarter
of next year (or not)..."

So, I guess we can find out from them how things have gone with the test
units....and maybe even participate in a test conference??

Cheers,
Dugan.

Hi Dugan,

Here is the proposal... Pricing for the different options are near the end.
